Tarpon, snook and redfish headline many trips, but the region’s inshore and nearshore waters hold a much wider variety of fish. Capt. Andy specializes in tarpon and fishes for them exclusively from April through October. Trips for the other species below are available outside those months, depending on conditions and availability.
Trout & inshore variety
Spotted seatrout, jack crevalle, ladyfish, pompano and other inshore species add variety to light-tackle fishing around the bays and flats.
Seasonal opportunities
Tripletail, cobia and permit are among the seasonal species to discuss with Capt. Andy. Ask what fits the time of year you plan to visit.
Nearshore fishing
Southwest Florida also offers opportunities for mackerel, kingfish, snapper and grouper. Ask the captain which species and trips are suitable for your dates.
