Charlotte Harbor fishing near Punta Gorda

Charlotte Harbor’s mangrove shorelines, grass flats and deeper seasonal tarpon waters offer several ways to plan a fishing trip during your Punta Gorda stay. Choose an inshore trip or discuss a dedicated tarpon charter with Capt. Andy.

Choose the experience you want

Tell Capt. Andy whether you are interested in tarpon or a light-tackle inshore trip. His service welcomes beginners and experienced anglers. Where you stay and where the boat departs may differ, so discuss both before settling the trip details.

Guided charter options

Capt. Andy specializes in tarpon fishing around Boca Grande, Charlotte Harbor and surrounding waters. From April through October, he fishes exclusively for tarpon. These trips book early; contact him ahead of your preferred dates. Ask about other species outside those months.

Choose a 6-hour AM or PM trip, an 8-hour trip or a 10-hour trip. See the published trip rates for 1–3 anglers; a fourth angler is an additional $200 per trip. Maximum four anglers per boat.

Bait, tackle and the charter fishing license are included. See full rates and inclusions or prepare for your fishing day.
