It’s true. There are many websites and guides on the internet where people you’ve never met (and never will) compete to be the cheapest. It’s an obsession actually, with one guide outdoing the other to offer his service cheaper or for even a dollar less than anyone else. I don’t do that, and here’s why.

To be the cheapest, you have to offer the cheapest service. This might seem obvious, but think about it for a second. We all need to make some profit on every charter. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t be doing this. Instead, I focus on offering a higher quality charter, to the my anglers for a fair price.

I am real company. I pay rent, commercial insurance, taxes, and a million other things that come along with being legitimate. I have a number of specialized pieces of equipment that can be used do any kind of fishing in our area whether its offshore, near shore, flats, tarpon, snook, redfish, permit, shark, etc. I fish all of Southwest Florida from Englewood Beach to Marco Island; If I need to adjust your charter for success, not only can I, I will. Rate is per boat, per trip, for the boat and covers 1-3 anglers you may add a fourth person for an additional $100 ( the additional charge does not apply to children under age of 16), four anglers maximum. If there will be the more than 4 anglers in your party, the only way is by splitting the party into multiple boats. In that case, the rate would apply to each boat. Don't let another guide tell you it will be alright or fun to pack you on his boat with him and 5 anglers, it will be crowded and his boat will be overloaded, something that I am not willing to risk!

You will be fishing from a new 22' Texas Shallow Sport Custom rigged with a full tower a quite 150 Four stroke motor, with ample front and rear fishing platforms, this boat is one of only a few in the area that can access the shallowest of areas, where literally hundreds of fish are trapped in pot holes and inaccessible by any other boats. Your tackle is  7' Falcon Rods, and Penn Reels replaced yearly so my clients Know that tackle failure is at its absolute minimum rigged and ready. I personally lay it on the line very few in this business offer the quality and cleanliness of my equipment.

April - July  Is Tarpon Fishing Season and during this time I exclusively fish for tarpon.
Do not let another guide take you on a tarpon charter only to end up back on the flats trout fishing. I have heard time after time, from clients, that hired a guide to take them tarpon fishing, only to be told sorry the tarpon just aren't in, well let me say if you heard that in these months, you hired the wrong guide.

I offer a 6-hour Tarpon charter choice of morning or early afternoon. Rate is $600 per charter for the boat and covers 1-3 anglers, additional angler is $100 max is 4 anglers.

I also offer a 10 hour split day tarpon charter. Rate is $1000.00 per charter for the boat and covers 1-3 anglers, additional angler is $100 max is 4 anglers. On a split trip we fish part of the trip in the morning, take a break and come back out to fish the remainder of the trip. Typically split 6 hours and 4 hours or however the fishing dictates.

In addition there is also a full-day tarpon charter. Rate is $1200.00 per charter for the boat and covers 1-3 anglers, additional angler is $100 max is 4 anglers.

The rate includes everything but food and drink (I do keep plenty of ice and water on board). If there will be the more than 4 anglers in your party, the only way is by splitting the party into multiple boats. And as a side note the area with  largest congregation of tarpon has a 3 lines only from a boat state law in affect during the tarpon season, so only 3 people are allowed to fish form a boat by Florida State Law.


All Charters Include The Following : Florida fishing license is provided as well as all bait and tackle. There is an on board cooler with ice and water for you convenience, and any fish being taken to eat will be cleaned and bagged. The boat is a new every year 24 foot Bay Ranger with state of the art equipment. I also run a 22 foot Shallow Sport Tower Boat for very shallow winter fishing. All tackle is high end spinning reels and composite rods, or Stand up Conventional Combo, also new every year.
